Months ago when me and my friend were shopping in Ikea to buy a office chair for my SOHO, looking at the price tags of things I was jokingly told my friend saying that perhaps that we could ask Ikea if they can hire us an “actor”, Ikea don’t need to pay us, but just allow us to sit in their office spaces and work on our own real projects, this way Ikea can show case how “real” people are utilizing the Ikea furniture, and we get a nice furnished office facility to use, sounds great huh? But of course, that remain as a though for both of us, we dint really approach Ikea about our idea.

Months passed, and while I was reading an article over cnn.com , this came up in the news: http://www.marklivesinikea.com/

Although this guy is not using the office space like we intended to do, but the idea was pretty closed… The friend of mine is watching the video now, and imagine that it could have been him in the video ^_^

Mark moved in early morning Monday January 7th to the IKEA in Paramus, New Jersey and will stay for the week through Saturday January 12th. Every day people can watch a video recap of his day. He will be living in IKEA 24/7 and eating all his meals in the restaurant (he may order Domino’s take out once or twice). Thankfully they have a shower for him in the back offices.
