Scam Scam Scam!

Got myself another scam mail that is not routed to my junk mail folder that read as follows:

Subject: Payment Representative Needed ! ! !
FROM: MR. LEE CHANG
E-mail: leechang771@yahoo.com.sg

Good day Friend,

I am Mr. Lee Chang,we are a group of business men who deal on import and export raw materials into canada,america and europe. We are searching for representatives who can help us establish a medium of getting to our customers in the canada, america and europe as well as making payments through you to us.

Please if you are interested in transacting business with us we will be very glad.

Please contact us for more information. Subject to your satisfaction you will be given the opportunity to negotiate your mode of which we will pay for your services as our representative in canada,america and europe.

I’m sure you guys out there probably seen tons of this… I did a googling around and found this site Scam-o-Rama [http://www.scamorama.com/], aparently this category of scam mail is label as “JOBSCAM”, which has the following pattern, to con your money!

You know the drill:

1. For some reason our (bogus) company can’t cash checks
2. Please accept these (fake) checks
3. Then send us a (real) money order for most of the amount, keeping a bit for yourself. Lucky you.

Alternative m.o.:
1. We stole this (real) money
2. You will provide an account through which we can launder it

Another alternative m.o.:
1. We ordered (real) products using stolen credit card numbers
2. You will re-ship the products to us
